Our special machines series have been projected and developed for roller burnishing technology (also called surface rolling), which is used on cylindrical, conical, or disk shaped workpieces. The tool resembles a roller bearing, but the rollers are generally very slightly tapered so that their envelope diameter can be accurately adjusted. The rollers typically rotate within a cage, as in a roller bearing.

The LE series is a range of hydraulic precision burnishing machines which are used for super finishing plunge rolling as well as throughfeed operations on cylindrical surfaces, in some cases on slightly conical pieces. This series includes three machine sizes and offers a choice of burnishing force from 400 to 1000 kN, covering a range of diameters from Ø=2mm to Ø=165 mm, 4 sizes of heads are available:

The machine is provided with one head size, chosen by the customer during the order, it can be equipped with special equipment for rolling particular or long pieces (bars). The LE series can be equipped with PLC or CNC control unit.
